A stall selling samosas, sweets, and drinks raises £600 towards patient care at a Hospice.

In May over 500 people took part in the East Lancashire Hospice first ever Bubble Rush, held at Pleckgate High School., Blackburn.

On the day Connect UK supported the event by holding a food and refreshment stall to help raise money for East Lancashire Hospice.

Sidat Salim, Connect UK said, “We are always happy to continue our support to the hospice, past and present.

"We all had such a fantastic day for a great cause. If anyone would like to become a volunteer with Connect please do get in touch with us and you could be helping at the next East Lancs Hospice event.”

Leanne Green, Events Fundraiser for the hospice said, “We are extremely grateful that groups like Connect UK support the hospice.

"Not only do they help raise money for their local charity, but to also get the word of East Lancashire Hospice out there in the community. The Bubble Rush was such a fantastic day and it was great to have Connect UK be a part of it.”
