Members of the Gujarat Hindu Society in Preston organised a religious recital to raise funds for Rosemere Cancer Foundation and Gaumata Sewa in India (Cow Welfare).
The target set was £5000 to be split between two charities.
The society raised an amazing £8000 and we they donated £4000 to Rosemere Cancer Foundation.
For this religious recital, the society had invited chief guest Dharmdas Bapu and devotees from Ramapir Bhajan Mandal from Leeds to lead the fund raising event.
Ishwer Tailor, President of GHS said ‘The devotees of the centre are very loyal and have given generously towards the fund raising event.We are proud as a community to make a small contribution to Rosemere Cancer Foundation and wish them well in reaching their target’.
