A female Muslim bus driver who faced down far-right protesters who blocked her in Trafalgar Square has been praised.
Demonstrators were demanding the release of jailed EDL founder Tommy Robinson and stopped the vehicle from moving in central London.
The group can be seen pushing “Britain Loves Trump” posters onto the vehicle’s windscreen.
But the calm bus driver doesn't seem fazed and simply smiles at their abuse.
She was allowed to drive on after approximately 30 minutes after police finally cleared the road.
This cowardly harrassment of a Muslim woman bus driver took place in Trafalgar square at yesterday's far-right "Free Tommy Robinson" demo.

Muslim women have a right to do their jobs free of harrassment. This should not be something we have to fight for, but it is. pic.twitter.com/PGdA3JDnOj
The irony of this photo is that Muslims don’t “integrate” etc but a Muslim woman is driving a bus, indicating positive contribution to society whilst the accusers are the ones showing lack of integration and no British values.

Just seen this photo of far right attempts to intimidate a bus driver. Appalling.

The far right politics of Stephen Yaxley-Lennon are all about scapegoating and dividing the working class in all its diversity. In practice, they act as the useful idiots for those at the top. pic.twitter.com/vUrTO6n44f

Let's identify this racist bully abusing a female Muslim bus driver in London yesterday so we can get him prosecuted or sacked or both. #StandUpToRacism #StopFascism #OppseTommy @AntiRacismDay @UAF pic.twitter.com/ufI29VQUuF
Who do these people think they are? This poor woman (regardless of her race, religion, gender etc) has the right to earn and honest loving to pay her bills and support herself (and her family if that’s her case). What disgusting behaviour from these people. #AcceptEverybody
