These amazing creations have helped to raise more than £34,000 for charity.
Shifa Patel of Preston was inspired to launch Bake4Syria Preston a cake baking event which raised money for Syrian refugees by auctioning off fresh homemade cakes via Facebook and Instagram daily during Ramadan.
By 8pm, whoever had the highest bid would receive the cake. The cake was then delivered to the winner before iftar.
In 2017 Bake4Syria Preston auctioned and delivered from Preston to Lancaster, Bolton and Manchester.
From managing this venture single handedley, Shifa garnered a team of volunteers and successfully raised £10,000 in the first year. Last year Bake4Syria Preston managed to raise £20,193.
This year the team smashed that record and £34,123!
Shifa said, "It was the toughest year this year! Most days we had at least 30 deliveries to complete between 7.30-9.30pm, as well as pickups throughout the day, up to Manchester!
"But Alhamdulilah, praise be to Allah, with the help of all our volunteers, we managed to raise an amazing £34,123!
Shifa maintains a 100% donation policy, ensuring that all the money raised goes directly to the charity.
She added, "JazaakaAllah and thank you to our volunteers, bakers, winners and sponsors this year - Pro platinum, Infrared heating supplies, G17 Customs and Arabic Artistry."
