A curry so hot it has an age limit to buy has been launched by a supermarket for National Curry Week.

Bradford-based Morrisons has launched the Volcanic Vindaloo - the hottest supermarket curry ever made in the UK.

The dish features the naga chilli, one of the world's hottest. It is 200 times hotter than a measly jalapeno.

The curry will cost just £1.50 and it is recommended that only people aged over 16 eat it.

The red-hot ready-meal hit the shelves yesterday to mark National Curry Week which started on October 9.

The Volcanic Vindaloo is twice as hot as its closest competitor, featuring a six-chilli warning. The next best is three chillis.
