Former EDL leader Tommy Robinson prompted a backlash from social media users after accusing the 'Finsbury Park Mosque' of having a history of 'creating terrorist and radical jihadists'.
This despite the Finsbury Park mosque not being the one which was targeted.
A vehicle mounted the pavement outside the Muslim Welfare House on Seven Sisters Road, near Finsbury Park Mosque.
His post came came barely an hour after the terror attack which saw one person killed and eight more taken to hospital after Taraweeh prayers in London.
He tweeted, "The mosque where the attack happened tonight has a long history of creating terrorists & radical jihadists & promoting hate & segregation"

Many people were quick to point out Robinson's hypocrisy and his response to the attack against Muslims.
This idiot is promoting hate and trying to justify killing innocent peoples

You justifying killing/injuring innocent Muslims? What does that make the white attacker, a terrorist? Is this white radicalisation?

way to promote hate and justify the killing of innocent people

This is wrong. Islamic terrorists justify their terror attacks in the same fashion. We have to be better then them. Any attack is despicable

Disgusting. Supporting and justifying a terrorist attack is not okay. Makes you as bad as the people who support and justify Isis.

You're think this kind of thing makes you a patriot? Are you proud of this? Is this making a stand?
— Mark (@Dr_EFC) June 19, 2017
Mate you and the daily mail need to get your facts straight! The attack was outside the Muslim welfare house not Finsbury Park Mosque
— Arousa Naqvi (@veiledevolution) June 19, 2017
Does that make it ok then? Because that's exactly what it sounds like you're trying to say.
— McSandwich (@GreatShite) June 19, 2017
He later went to post a video stating, "Any one of those Muslims out there who say I should be arrested should give me one example. One example where I have incited hate or violence ever?"
