DETECTIVES in Bradford are appealing for information following an aggravated burglary in Bradford.  

About 8.30pm on Saturday, January 14, a woman in her 40s answered a knock on the door of her house in Upper Rushton Road. 

Three men wearing face coverings then forced their way into the house and demanded gold and jewellery. 

One of them is thought to have been carrying a gun. 

They are believed to have taken a quantity of jewellery, cash and electrical items and drove off in a blue Audi A3, which belonged to one of the occupants of the property. 

This vehicle was recovered later that evening in Highthorne Avenue in the BD3 area of the city.  

The woman was unhurt.  

Police said one of the men is described as black. He was approximately 6ft tall, of slim build and wearing a black hooded top, black pants and trainers. 

Another is described as Asian and about 5ft 10ins tall. He was wearing a grey hooded top, black trousers and trainers.

The other suspect is also described as Asian and 5ft 10ins tall. He was wearing a Gucci belt with a gold coloured "G" buckle with green and black fabric. 

He was also wearing black trousers and black trainers.  

Detective Inspector Matt Walker of Bradford District CID, said: "We would like to speak to anyone who saw any suspicious activity in the area at around the time stated or anyone who saw the car being abandoned later that evening. 

"Our enquiries also suggest a man wearing a sleeveless fluorescent jacket was seen close by at the time and we would be keen to speak to this man, as we believe he may have more information."
