All eyes will be on Yorkshire from 7-10 June 2007 as the glamorous International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) awards take the region by storm.

Asian Image is giving you the chance to win exclusive money can't buy' VIP tickets to the celebrity cricket match, courtesy of Yorkshire Tourist Board.

The star-studded weekend starts on Thursday 7 June with the global premiere of the year's top Bollywood movie.

Friday 8 June will see thousands of fans gather for the charity celebrity cricket match - where A-list stars and cricketers from Asia and England will battle for supremacy at the famous Headingley Stadium in Leeds!

The match promises to be a great day out for the whole family and will see Yorkshire's legendary Dickie Bird making a unique one-off comeback as umpire. The full team Yorkshire' line up includes: former Yorkshire and England player and umpire John Hampshire, Leeds Rhinos player Danny Maguire, Yorkshire media personality and BBC Look North presenter Harry Gration, actor Greg Wise (supported by his partner - actress Emma Thompson), former England players Devon Malcolm, Gladstone Small, Robin Smith and Phillip Defreitas.

The event will be inaugurated by Indian acting legend and IIFA Brand Ambassador, Amitabh Bachchan, joined by international starlet Shilpa Shetty. Team IIFA' boasts the cricketing prowess of Kapil Dev, Mohammed Azharuddin, Zayed Khan, Fardeen Khan, Suneil Shetty, Aftab Shivdasani, Riteish Deshmukh, Sohail Khan, Bobby Deol, Anil Kapoor and Abhishek Bachchan.

The bid to bring this fantastic event to Yorkshire was undertaken by Yorkshire Tourist Board with the support of Yorkshire Forward, Yorkshire Culture, Screen Yorkshire and the cities of Bradford, Leeds, Sheffield, York and Hull.

Over 28,000 visitors will visit Yorkshire during the weekend, boosting the region's tourism economy by £9.5 million.

Yorkshire Tourist Board chairman, Judith Donovan CBE, said: "Yorkshire is passionate about cricket and there will be lots more to get passionate about during the weekend. For the first time ever, Yorkshire is hosting an IIFA Fringe Festival from 5-10 June. Music, dance, food, drink, mela and fashion with a unique Asian twist will also be on offer in Leeds, Sheffield, Bradford, York, Wakefield, Rotherham, Scarborough and Beverley."
