A demonstration is being held in Manchester to highlight the plight of the Palestinians.
The Solidarity Vigil For Palestine on will take place on Saturday 27th 6pm till 9pm Piccadilly Gardens, Manchester.
Drive ForJustice representative Harris Ali said 'Israel has committed war crimes and we demand justice.
"It is carrying out an incremental genocide under the guise of self defence. Over 10,000 people killed since 2000 and Israel will continue its cycle of killing until the world takes action. How much longer is the world willing to endure this spectacle of wanton cruelty?'
The event will conclude with a candle light vigil.
"Darkness cannot drive out darkness: only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate: only love can do that."
Several speakers and musicians will be part of the proceedings and all are welcome. Event is in association with Stop the War, Palestine Solidarity Campaign and Manchester Palestine Group.
