Councillor to lose moustache for campaign funds
A PLUCKY parish councillor is shaving off his moustache to boost campaign funds.
Ian Tucker, of High Street, Mistley, has been instantly recognisable by his distinctive facial fuzz for almost 50 years.
But now he is losing the hair on his top lip for Free The Quay.
The campaign was launched in 2008 by residents against the two metre high fence which was constructed at Allen’s Quay.
The event is due to take place over the May bank holiday weekend.
