But the little known life of the Mahatma's son is brought to life in this wonderful and compelling film.
Somewhere during the life of the one of the twentieth century's most important figures lived his son - Harilal (played by Akshaye Khanna). This is the story about his relationship (or lack of) with his father.
It is produced by Anil Kapoor and directed by Feroz Khan. At times it is laborous but take nothing away from the story it tells.
Wonderful locations, costumes and some moving scenes.
