Is it my imagination or does Amir Khan get scarier and scarier to look at with each passing film?
Maybe it’s too much botox but his once baby-face features have mutated into something more befitting a villain than a hero.
Here he plays a rich tycoon suffering from short-term memory loss following his girlfriend's murder.
His memory can only last for fifteen minutes and he doesn't remember events or incidents that have happened before in his life.
He adapts to the situation by tattooing notes on himself and taking pictures to jog his memory.
His story in unraveled by a medical student (Jiah Khan) and with her help, the scary looking hero sets out on a revenge spree, searching for his girlfriend's murderer.
The more astute amongst you will immediately recognize this is a Bollywood version of the American film, 'Memento' - minus the originality and intriguing complexities of that film.
Ghajini stars Aamir Khan, Asin Thottumkal , Jiah Khan, Riyaz Khan and directed by: A. R. Murugadoss
