Eight years after 'Mohabbatein', director Aditya Chopra reunites with Shah Rukh Khan in this tale of fantasy love gone awry.
Aditya Chopra's head must be a wonderful place to be, seemingly preoccupied at all times with Love! Love! Love! - and nary a thought for the mundane things in life that us poor mortals have to contend with.
Here, Shah Rukh and Anushka Sharma find true love while participating in a dance competition - as you do in Bollywood.
Initially, Shah Rukh is reluctant to participate in the reality dance show but changes his mind for the sake of his wife.
His wife falls in love with him all over again as he undergoes a major personality change.
The moral of the story seems to be: 'Reality shows aren't crass or stupid but life affirming.'
And to think I sat through three hours of this muddled rubbish to find that out!
Rab Ni Bana De Jodi Stars: Shahrukh Khan, Vinay Pathak, Anushka Sharma, and is directed by: Aditya Chopra.
