The New Year kicks off with one of Bollywood’s most ambitious projects to date.

The British empire with their devious divide and rule policy turn kings and nawabs against each other. Each ruler falls to their guile and cunning, and entrust their kingdoms to the foreigners.

Except for the Pindaris, who prefer death to dishonour and will fight to their last breath to save their land.

And the biggest thorn in the side of the British is Veer who decides to take on the British almost single-handedly. And at stake is his love for princess Yashodhara, daughter of his sworn enemy.

There is a real traces of Braveheart in this film but the fantastic sets, costumes and great fight scenes put this in a league of it’s own.

Good supporting performances by Jackie Shroff and Mithun Chakraborty too.
