This is a family film in that film producer Vashu Bhagnani is launching his son, Jackky Bhagnani, on an unsuspecting world.

You probably remember Vashu Bhagnani’s movie-making formula, which can be summed up as follows: ‘Think of a film title, then add the number 1 at the end’- COOLIE No.1, HERO No.1, BIWI No.1 – you get the picture?

Young Jackky plays an unconventional boy: talks too much, questions everything and builds complicated gadgets in this spare time.

He has a brilliant mind and an oddball sort of charm – and he adores his mother (this is Bollywood, after all!) When he is accepted into his dream college, he falls for Meesha, the spoilt brat of the college: proud, rude and rolling in money.

Will Jackky and Meesha get it together and live happily ever after?

Once again, do you really need me to tell you that?!! Shahrukh Khan, Juhi Chawla, Sanjay Dutt, Irrfan Khan and Rishi Kapoor make guest appearance – otherwise who in their right mind will sit through this nonsense.
