Film styles and ethnic cultures meet and collide in this new uplifting, feel-good British made comedy/drama.

The film pays homage to the quirky and zany post-war Ealing Comedies but the setting is today's new multi-cultural, multi-ethnic Britain. Alfie Singh (Kulvinder Ghir from 'Goodness Gracious Me') plays a British Asian accountant who wants to turn film producer.

He has a great idea for a film, to be called "Ealing Comedy". He wants Shah Rukh Khan to act in the film. Naturally, he is turned down by all the financiers - so Alfie vows to make the film on his own, with madcap results!

Ealing Comedy stars: Kulvinder Ghir, Alistair Mcgowen, Paul Raschid and is directed by Neville Raschid

Has a really amateur feel to it. Thought it was badly acted and didn't find it funny at all (whereas I'm old enough to remember the original Ealing Comedy films some of which were hilarious). Gave up on this film after 45 mins - it was that bad!

This film is absolutely terrible, I did not laugh once, was. How on earth can anybody be as stupid to put thier money into financing this film. A complete waste of time.

I felt this was a good little film. I wasn't expecting a visual masterpiece, due to it's extraordinarily low budget. But i believe that all things considered it was a very enjoyable, light-hearted, charming little film. I also believe that it proves Kulvinder Ghir can make the transition to the Silver Screen, and felt that he and Alistair Mcgowen gave terrific performances!

Just saw this yesterday. It's such a refreshing film. It's smart, witty and kept a grin on my face throughout. I love the fact that it's got such a big heart and it makes big films like 10,000 BC seem so superficial and fake. This film is real. I hope we see more of these kinds of films out in the cinema in the future.
