Dance star in Liverpool
Award-winning classical dance star Menaka Bora will be performing at World Museum Liverpool on Saturday 20 October.
An expert in Sattriya dancing, an ancient Indian technique rarely seen in the UK, Menaka will be bringing to life the Dashavatara which tells the story of the Hindu God Vishnu.
Born in Assam, India and trained in traditional dancing from the age of 2, Menaka is currently touring the country and will be leading a dance workshop based on her critically acclaimed technique on Saturday 20 October at 15.30 hours.
Places are limited, tickets available on the day from the World Museum Liverpool information desk.
