Manchester Literature Festival
Two well-known Asian wrieters are to feature at this year's Manchester Literature Festival.
Now in its second year, the Festival presents high quality live literature through a range of events that celebrate the power of writing across all creative and technological media.
Across 11 days, activity will take place all over the city in both traditional and unconventional venues.
Already confirmed is an impressive line up of national and international authors and poets including two events with Asian writers.
Be stirred by this simmering three course selection of stories around Asian food, told by two master purveyors of fiction, the UK novelists, Vijay Medtia (The House of Subadar, Arcadia) and Zahid Hussain (The Curry Mile, Suitcase).
The evening's menu comprises: for starters a fun, food-themed writing competition; the main course readings from the two hot novelists; followed by refreshments, questions, the competition winner's readings and signings by the two novelists.
