Nisha Katona, food writer, Indian cookery teacher, author of Pimp My Rice and founder of Mowgli Street Food, is joining the Foodies Festival line up at Tatton Park.

The festival takes place from July 14 to July 16.

Nisha said, “I’m really excited to join Foodies Festival for the first time and share my street food inspired dishes and tips with local foodies”.

Nisha opened her first street food restaurant in 2014 and the retired barrister has gained a worldwide following for her series of youtube videos.

The eline up also includes Candice Brown, Winner of Great British Bake Off 2016, lippy in one hand and spatula in the other, who  will be baking up a storm in our Cakes and Desserts Theatre for two demonstrations at  Foodies Festivals.

Candice said, "I'm excited to return Foodies Festival for 8 of their festivals across the UK this summer, with two baking demonstrations a day giving me the chance to share my favourite recipes with so many of my fans and fellow bakers".

From Great British Bake Off winner Candice Brown to baking extraordinaire Charlotte White and top local cake-makers and patisserie chefs, the Cakes and Desserts theatre is set to expand to include not only top local bakers but also local chefs renowned for their outstanding desserts.

Jane Devonshire, Winner of MasterChef 2016 said, "I'm really excited to return to the Chef's Theatre at Foodies Festival this summer.

"I love Foodies Festival and being a part of the show, having taken part last year shortly after winning MasterChef. When I'm not in the Chef's Theatre you'll find me exploring the exhibitor stalls to see what delicious treats are on offer, getting lured in by the Street Food Village or chatting to visitors.

"I love the opportunity to cook for my fans and to pass on my cooking tips to fellow foodies."
