Zack Knight and Mumzy Stranger are to perform at the Oldham Coliseum Theatre for a special one-off gig.

The concert takes place on Saturday 2 April 2016.

This special event at the Coliseum comes as part of Dhanak, a new regular series of entertainment at the theatre designed for Oldham’s Asian communities. 

As a treat for fans, the Coliseum is offering a VIP ticket option, which includes a meet and greet with Zack and Mumzy after the show. 

Zack Knight’s sound is a blend of R&B, Bollywood and Arabian music. 

With influences including Usher, Boyz II Men and Michael Jackson, Zack started his career writing songs for the likes of Tinie Tempah and Genuwine. 

With his own music, Zack has reached number five and number six in the Asian Charts and has had two Top 10 UK singles in the R&B iTunes charts including the recent hit, Ya Baba. 

Zack has supported world famous artists on stage including Taio Cruz, Mario and Jessie J and has won multiple awards including Breakthrough Act at the BritAsia TV World Music Awards in 2015 and Best Male Singer and Best Urban Act at the Pakistani Music & Media Awards 2015. 

Mumzy Stranger is known for his bashment-flavoured R&B and pop. He made his mainstream recording debut in the summer of 2009 with debut single, One More Dance, which topped the UK Asian Charts. Follow-ups Showgirl and Fly With Me cemented his success and his debut album, Journey Begins, won the UK Asian Music Award for Best Album in 2011 and reached number four on the official iTunes Hip Hop album chart.  

Zack Knight and Mumzy Stranger will be supported at the Coliseum by Khiza and Soni-J, who collaborated with Zack on hit single, Tere Naal.
