Akshay Kumar has unveiled images from his upcoming movie 'Padman'.
Padman is inspired by the life of Indian social-entrepreneur Arunachalam Muruganantham, who invented a low-cost sanitary pad-making machine and brought cost-effective female hygiene to India’s rural poor.
Directed by R Balki it features a guest appearance from Bollywood legend, Amitabh Bachchan.
Akshay Kumar is in the title role and stars alongside Sonam Kapoor and Radhika Apte.

Padman is co-produced by Twinkle Khanna’s Mrs Funnbones Movies, Hope Productions, KriArj Entertainment, Sony Pictures Entertainment, India and will be an SPE Films India Release, worldwide on 26 January 2018.
