Fawad Khan will be in London to support the UK Association of Medical Aid to Pakistan charity at their annual gala.

Founded in 2005, the UK Association of Medical Aid to Pakistan is a disaster relief charity that helps people in crisis who have been displaced by wars, natural disasters etc in Pakistan.

The funds raised facilitate basic needs for survival such as clean water, Education, Hepatitis Awareness and medical treatment.

Fawad Khan, last seen in his very successful Bollywood debut Khoobsurat alongside Sonam Kapoor will use his star power to raise funds for the cause by auctioning some special items at the gala.

He said, “I’m excited to come to London and extend my support combined with yours to such a worthy cause. It’s important for us to unite together and help those in dire need of it. This one's for Pakistan".

Rakhshi Memon, UK Association of Medical Aid to Pakistan said: “We strive to provide life-saving support to people that have been affected by conflict and disasters in Pakistan and to have the country’s most famous actor Fawad Khan support us is a big honour."

The annual gala takes place on September 5 at the plush Radisson Blu Hotel, London.
