Arjun Rampal says he felt quite at home in the roll of a gangster in the movie Daddy.
The gritty thriller sees him playing real life gangster Arun Gawli. Arjun said, “You know this world exists, you know all of that does happen, we are just on this side of the fence.

"There’s a world on that side of the fence too. It’s not that you want to join it but it will be cool to experience it in a different way.
"As an actor, I love this genre. I always wanted to play a gangster! When Arun Gawli gave his blessings, I was like, it’s perfect”

Daddy is based on the real life gangster Arun Gawli of the BRA gang and his journey from being the biggest gangster in 1970s Mumbai to becoming a politician.
