RDB and singer-songwriters Parichay and Nindy Kaur - wowed revellers at Chennai’s SRM University.
The performance was part of the four-day music and cultural event Milan 2012.
RDB opened their set with "Shera Di Kaum" and then performed some of their smash hits like ‘Sadi Gali’ and ‘Paisa’.
Half way through the set RDB introduced Bhangra beauty Nindy Kaur, famed for her edgy urban/hip-hop infused songs and her collaborations on some of Bollywood’s biggest films, including ‘Kambakkth Ishq’ and ‘Speedy Singhs’. Her new album ‘Nindypendent’ promises to be a roller-coaster ride of Bhangra, R’n’B, Hip Hop and Soul influences.
She began her performance with popular song ‘Aloo Chaat’, and then continued with ‘Om Managlam’ and ‘2 Seater’. Nindy also performed a cover of "Sadi Gali" at the request of screaming fans.
Staying with the up tempo vibe, RDB then introduced their newest singing talent Parichay, who made an entrance with his smash hit track from the film ‘Yamla Pagla Deewana’. Other highlights included a performance of ‘Why This Koloberi’, which he reworked especially for the Chennai audience.
Parichay has recently released his latest album All New Everything, which has received widespread acclaim.
