A man has been arrested on suspicion of the murder of an innocent shop worker gunned down in a Salford shop.
The man, aged 20, was the 13th person arrested following the murder of Nasar Husain, 30, at the Brookhouse Wines shop on Saturday night.
He is the first to be held on suspicion of murder, with most of the others held on suspicion of conspiracy to murder.
The other 12 have now been bailed or released without charge.
The suspect remains in police custody for questioning, a spokesman for Greater Manchester Police said.
Earlier, the victim’s father said he was “devastated” at his son’s murder.
Mr Hussain, known locally as Nasar Shazad, was killed after a lone gunman shot him six times in the chest and stomach as he worked at the shop.
Police described the attack as “horrific”, adding Mr Hussain was an innocent man who was simply in the wrong place at the wrong time.
He had only been in the UK for six months and was originally from a remote area of Pakistan.
His father, who did not wish to be named, said: “My son was very kind and a good son. He offered his prayers every day. I am devastated by his death.”
