Internet Access is now available at a Railway Station Cafe where you can also get a great halal meal!

It is just one of the top ideas by owner of The Transit Lounge which is based at the entrance of Blackburn Railway station.

Amjad Anwar said, 'I am constantly surfing the web, checking my emails, updating my profile on social networking sites such as facebook, and bagging a bargain on ebay. "We already had a wireless connection at the cafe, so it was just a matter of sharing my connection with other computer terminals."

The Transit Lounge cyber café in an ideal location for shoppers and commuters to have a coffee and a surf for as little as £1.95 for half an hour (the price includes the coffee!).

Having purchased the business a year ago Amjad focused his attention on creating a "cosier" cafe environment, providing a extended range of snacks, installing a espresso machine to offer latte/capacinnos and a wider range of ready made sandwiches/wraps/hot paninis - all of which are halal "The response so far has been fantastic."
