4:48pm Friday 23rd September 2011 in Bollywood By Pervaiz Awan
There are some films where watching the trailer is sufficient but with this film even the trailer is unnecessary – just a cursory look at the poster is all you need.
A tattooed young man with a revolver tucked in the front of his jeans and supporting the obligatory six-pack – somehow, you just know this isn’t a film asking you to engage your cerebral cortex.
All you need is a box of popcorn and a tub of coke to sit through this and, come to think of it, you don’t really need to bother watching the movie cos you’ve seen the same flick many times over – the faces and the songs change but the rest is the same old, same old.
This was originally a Tamil film that had a Telugu remake, which makes this a remake twice over.
Now here is the really funny bit: controversy broke out when a scene involving John Abraham and Genelia DSouza getting married was so authentic that had they completed the last round they would have actually been man and wife. Yep! Only in Bollywood.
Force stars: John Abraham, Genelia Dsouza, Raj Babbar and is directed by: Nishikant Kamat.
