This marks the writing and directing debut of Ali Abbas Zafar and stars Imran Khan, Katrina Kaif and Ali Zafar in the lead roles.

It’s a topsy-turvy love triangle romantic comedy produced by Yash Raj Films and as usual for Yash Raj, it’s set amongst upper middle class families.

Imran Khan plays a character who falls in love with his brother's (Ali Zafar) bride (Katrina Kaif). Simply put, this is similar to the Steve Carell film ‘Dan in Real Life.’ Worse still, ‘Mere Brother’s looks similar to one of Yah Raj’s own ‘Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai’ – which was in turn a remake of of Julia Robert’s comedy, ‘My Best Friend’s wedding’. And so it goes on.
