Fiancee won't speak to me
Dear Massi, I am 29 years-old and I was about to get married this year and then all of a sudden she called it off.
We had known each other for a year and our parents had agreed to the marriage. I have found out now my sister spoke to my fiancee and told her about my past.
I had a big argument with my sister and she just doesn't care. I don't think my sister or my cousins liked this girl I was going to marry.
My fiancee won't speak to me any more. How can I make her understand what has happened? I am so angry with everyone in my family for ruining everything.
KJ Blackburn.
Massi Says, My only question here is what is so bad about your past that the woman you love would refuse to marry you.
Relationships are meant to be based on the truth. Because you have not been honest you need to look closer to home when pointing the finger of blame. Your sister should not have done what she did but your fiancée is entitled to know about your past good and bad.
We are all human and make mistakes so we are entitled to second chances. I suggest you keep trying to speak to her so she can hear your version of the story. If you need to put everything down in a letter and send it to her. I also suggest some stern words with your sister and cousin are needed.

You've got every right to be angry with your sister the sh*tstirring so-and-so. She should have given you the option to declare your shady past 1st to your fiancee. Yep. do what Massi says and put it all in writing - get your point of view across and sit tight and wait and wait. You never know, the reason for the break up could be something different such as her family wanting her to marry some eemport from back home. Tell your sister not to interfere again.

29 years old and you’re still not married? Don’t blame your sis for this. You ought to be ashamed of yourself! What have you been doing for the last 9 years amigo?
