Dear Massi, My husband is using the credit crunch as an excuse to save money.
He has cut back on everything. He has stopped our kids pocket money, he won’t take us out anywhere, he insists on going to the grocers with me and he stands next to all of us when we’re making a call.
Recently he took it to another level and now won’t change his clothes and wears a T-shirt and shalwaar bottoms for most of the day and night.
We are lucky we don’t have many debts or loans so why is he acting like this? It’s ridiculous.
Massi says, I know the economy is in dire straights but I think your husband has taken the credit crunch a little too seriously.
From your letter it seems that he is only pulling back on things you and your children do. How about making him save on some of his hobbies.
Then he might be a little more thoughful before making ‘money-saving tips!’
