Muslim leaders have followed up a Mars Fatwa with a ‘Sales fatwa’ this week.

Earlier, it had been reported a fatwa was issued in the UAE against travelling on what would be a suicidal mission.

The the fatwa reportedly stated, ‘Such a one-way journey poses a real risk to life, and that can never be justified in Islam.

“There is a possibility that an individual who travels to planet Mars may not be able to remain alive there, and is more vulnerable to death'.

Now it is believed Muslims are being told not to attend the annual sales because ‘it can get quite dangerous’.

The Next sale in particular is one that gets very busy. We would just like to clarify there is no imminent danger to life at that store.

One unknown Islamic leader said, “We know of many Muslim men who are forced to go the sales and queue up for several hours by their wives.

"Sometimes very early in the morning.

“We urge the women to be more careful as these type of sales can lead to many men feeling quite suicidal when they return home.’
