Look, we don’t be minding the rules and stuff but there comes a point when we all know it is utter b******s.

I’m loving certain things my friends but it don’t make me some sort of haramee.

Eating crisps? I forbid it. The wrong sweets..I forbid it. Watching fireworks...haram. A well known burger joint - all haram, haram and haram!

Look, there comes a time in everyone’s life when we really have to put things into perspective.

Have we become obsessed over what is lawful and unlawful whilst at the same time taking part in the unlawful in private?

The other day I nearly keeled over when I saw this woman covered head to toe with her hubby who also had the gear on in a popular high street store.

They were searching for the latest cheap offers without realising they were at a store which supports the Israeli regime.

Either they were ignorant or simply didn’t give a crap because above all else a bargain is a bargain!!

Then there is the fella who keeps e-mailing and texting you about almost everything under the sun cause he thinks he’s doing god’s work in letting you know what is haram and what ain’t. Good on you brother but try not too look so guilty when you pop out of the bookies every Friday afternoon.

Worst thing is you ask some fellow about the state of affairs in the Middle East and he don’t know nothing. But then you ask him if licking fruit balls is haram and he’s the expert.

And then there are the ‘rumours’. You can’t go there cause it’s haram. Is it now? Or is the person spreading the rumour just a business rival? I never figured that one out?

The best bit is when you end-up eating from this supposed ‘haram’ place (even though it has been certified halal) and then go back cause the chicken was so damn tasty.

Man I got busted so many times it’s unbelievable but that fried chicken sure is fine brother...so fine.

Sister or dearest sister. Can someone please tell me why on earth are you are ‘chatting’ to your fifty male friends on Facebook and then try to lecture me about morals and ****.

I know this is making some folks blood boil and even I will get banned one day but come on people...if it’s forbidden then so be it...but don’t be picking and choosing when you want!
