Dear Massi, I went out for lunch with a guy I met online.

He was about two stones heavier than the picture he had put up, but I didn’t say anything about it to him.

We were getting along really in all the messages to each other before we met up, but it felt really weird and awkward over the lunch.

At the end of it when we were outside, he stood really close to me.

I thought he was going to kiss me, but he looked at me really closely and asked me if I had small hairs all over my body like I do on my face.

I was so shocked and insulted.  How dare he ask me about my body hair!

I never said anything about him being overweight.

Then he had the audacity to say that I put a misleading picture of myself online.

Now he has blocked me. I should be the one blocking him, but he bloody well went and blocked me first.

I am so angry but I don’t know what to do.

Massi says, As horrified as you are by this man’s stance, consider it fortunate that you were able to determine his personality in the space of one meeting, before any attachment was formed.

We are all entitled to favouring certain traits when looking for a partner.
However, it was very unkind of this man to articulate this to you in such an abrupt and tactless manner.

He certainly had no right to ask you anything so invasive.

Try not let yourself worry about what this man has said to you.and don’t let it deter you from getting to know other men.
