Dear Massi, One of our family friends came to visit and had a shower at our house.
The whole family and other people came over a dawat (family dinner) and the dad said he wanted to use the bathroom.
He was up there for a while and I realised later he had gone into our bedroom to look for towels and then went for a shower.
He left the bathroom in a right state. My mum and dad were a bit embarrassed but we didn’t know what to do.
His wife and kids didn’t say anything. This is a grown man in his forties. Later, he said he was ‘feeling hot.’
It is not something people do is it?
We are having another dawat soon.
Massi says, As unusual as this man’s behaviour was, perhaps he didn’t think it wrong to make use of your shower.
He may himself have been too embarrassed to admit the reason at first.
I would suggest if this incident is repeated at the next dinner party, then inform your parents who can then ask him privately to shower at home before he visits you.
I would think he needs to know that this is not something one just does when going to somone's house for dinner.
