Wonderful, I can now join the BNP. But why on earth would I want too?
They may well have decided to change their constitution to accommodate ethnic minorities but as everyone knows this was forced upon them.
Either they changed their policy or they were faced with an expensive couple of months in the courts.
The racist party is no longer racist yet somehow I can’t see my self or anyone else rushing for that application form. Can you actually imagine an ethnic minority wanting to join the BNP?
I’m sure a few will be pushed to the forefront in the coming weeks to show how accommodating the party is. And more than likely none will be Muslim.
The BNP will continue to spout the same nonsense as before and we will learn nothing new or different.
The fact remains that nobody wanted to be a BNP member in the first place so was it really necessary to force the party to change it’s constitution?
This will simply mean that Mr Griffin (and he’s already done it) can boast the BNP is ‘no longer a racist party’.
The party may now use this issue to highlight their Britishness in the run-up to the election. As long you share our ‘British values’ you may join will be the repeated call.
The point is many people didn’t bother about the BNP when ‘they were racist’ and they couldnt care less now ‘they are not racist.’
