A senior Islamic leader says he has decided not to call for a fatwa against Katie Hopkins after her recent Islamophobic comment.
The columnist for the Sun newspaper and TV airtime filler recently posted on Twitter, ‘If you follow a religion where your imaginary prophet is a paedophile, I suspect you think it is ok to rape young white girls too. Bastards’
The Islamic Sheikh who leads all Muslims in the UK, even those who continue to shop at Tesco’s told the Daily Moslem today, “We did think about imposing a fatwa but then decided it was just too much paperwork and anyway Katie ain’t so bad really…yeah every so often Hopkins posts the odd Islamophobic comment to get people to take notice, but we’ve all done it I suppose. It is the only way to get more Twitter followers.
“If we had to call for a Fatwa every time anyone was attacking Islam we might not any work done.
“Anyway I’m a great fan of his and I loved him in Silence of the Lambs.”
NOTE: The sheikh later admitted he may have confused the name Hopkins but thought a Fatwa should be set aside for 'real celebrities'.
