There is nothing wrong with loving every single moment of the World Cup.

Every four years I have to say I become a little obsessed with the whole culture of the tournament. The fans, the wrong decisions, the wags and now the protests!

I actually do go a little overboard during the world cup and will be proudly fly the flags on my car and anywhere else I can hang the thing.

I will be screaming again when we lose for the umpteenth time on a penalty shoot out but I guess that is football.

We have Joe Hart who in my opinion is as good as Peter Shilton, Good old Gerard who can do no wrong in my eyes, Frank Lampard and Wayne Rooney.

What he lacks in looks he makes up for in goal scoring ability...well, I'm hoping so.

Having said all of this I am a realist and predict Brazil or Spain in the final.

I wonder how many females will be glued to their screens at every match? I for one a true convert who watches Match of the day will be focused on every match.

My father, a great man now in his 80’s, is adamant all the children and grand children support England as this is our home.

Having confessed to being a sceptic I am also a believe in the Maker doing miracles. Who would have thought one day Prince Charles would marry Camilla and the Queen will be in attendance willingly.
