The Sun Newspaper has been commended today for reporting that Pizza Express is using Halal chicken in all its meals.
In today’s front page exclusive the Sun newspaper reported that halal chicken was being served in all of Pizza Express restaurants.
Abudullah Hamid told us, “This is fantastic news. It is about time I could go to a restaurant like Pizza Express and order something else other than the spinach Pasta.
“I go to Nando’s but I will be making a visit to Pizza Express this weekend with the family. My children will be devouring several halal chicken pizzas!.”
Jamila Patel added, “I wish more restaurants were halal in my town. I hate seeing all the non-Muslims tucking into all the succulent meat whilst I have to make do with fish and chips.
“Great news about Pizza Express- that’s the best thing that’s happened for ages.”
Presently, Muslims can only eat halal meat at some Nando’s and Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) outlets and thousands of Asian restaurants and takeaways.
