Here's a quick and easy recipe to make and you'll love it! It's called Tostones, I learnt it during one of the Cuban food festivals in chennai. 

TOSTONES with aioli sauce.

Ingredients Raw Bananas. 3nos.

Olive oil for frying Salt and pepper to taste Method: Cut the raw bananas(plantains) into 3 thick slices (1/4) each and remove the skin. 2. Deep fry in hot oil until golden brown and remove.

Transfer them on to paper towel to drain off the oil. Flatten each slice with the palm of your hand to make them flat. Deep fry again in hot oil until golden brown and crisp. Sprinkle salt and pepper and serve with aioli sauce.

Aioli sauce (Garlic mayonnaise) Ingredients Minced garlic 1tsp Mayonnaise 250 gms lemon juice salt and pepper to taste .

Method: 1. Mix the garlic and mayonnaise in a blender.

2. Add the other ingredients lemon juice salt and pepper.

Aioli sauce is ready, serve with tostones on a plate.
