A new online clothes store is hoping to give Muslim women more choice than ever before.

Al-Nisah is UK based and offers, stylish and elegant clothing for women. It is the brainchild of Tazim Hussain.

She told us, "We are Muslim women, who wanted to set up a website that would allow people the chance to buy modern clothing that met with the Shariah.

"We spent a lot of time ensuring the website helps to really explore what it is to be a Muslim woman in the twenty-first century.

Tazim says she wanted to give shoppers a new and unique look without losing their Islamic identity, “Al-Nisah means ‘the women’ in Arabic. Our aim is to provide quality, modern, unique and above all, affordable Islamic clothing.

“At Al-Nisa we feel women should want to wear our clothes and feel excited by Islamic clothing."

Along with the clothing range, the company also supply additional accessories and products from around the world.

“The website offers Abayas, readymade Shalwar Kameez, Hijabs, Hijab pins, Tunics, Jewellery and Girlswear. At the moment we only have a small selection and inshallah we will expand soon.

"We value our customers and we look forward to receiving customer's comments so that we may improve our service."

Meanwhile, customer have been extremely forthcoming and the website has already receiving hits from across the world.

“So far all the Abayas have been very popular, with the Hooded Abayas proving to be a best seller.

“Other products that have been popular with customers are the Pink Stone Abaya, which was especially popular before Eid, the flower flides and the tunics These are popular with young girls who wear them to college and work.”
